I always love sitting down with people twice my age to ask questions and learn from there experiences in life. One day, a mentor of mine looked me in the eyes and said, “God sees you as a king.” He read Revelation 1:5-6 which says, “To him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” He went on to remind me of Revelation 19:16 which says, “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” This man looked me in the eyes and said, “He is the King of kings…you and I are kings in his sight, and he desires us to rule and reign with love just like our Heavenly King Jesus did while he was on earth.” Jesus modeled for us how to love, how to serve, how a good king should rule and reign. Through Christ, we have been adopted into Gods family and have been made kings for his glory. So KINGS (or “QUEENS” for the ladies!!), be encouraged….He sees you as royalty and desires you to follow His model and be a powerful, loving king on the earth today.

Ben, this part of your website is one of my favorites. I love hearing what you and the other guys have to say here. I really learn a lot with every new entry you all put in. Also, the ‘queen’ part cracked me up. Thank you so much!
Isn’t it amazing? He owns me. He owns us, our lives. Made me a part of Him. Accepted and love me, all of us, despite of our shortcomings.
Hebrews 10:14 “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” ~ ‘Perfected’ does not mean we are flawless. It means God has leveled our position that is same as His. He has made us Royalties. And that my friends sends my heart dancing. ♥
Because that means He holds my life. He put me right beside Him, and I’m gonna be standing right next to Him… For eternity!
Like one songs says, “God made everything glorious, what does that make me?” ♪
Wow, i have never really sat down with revelation but that is some big stuff. I know that we are good in christ’s sight but that we are Kings and Queens?! thats something so beyond what we could even hope to deserve. We are given so much because of christ’s grace, the very very very least we can do is live our lives entirely in his name in everything we do.
Col. 3:17 – And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Thats what its all about. Kings and Queens are MEANT to bow down at his feet. The art of losing ourselves in bringing him praise, that complete submission and servitude is true freedom.
